RESEARCH INTERESTS:

- imaging, characterization (mechanical, electrical, optoelectronic properties), control of physical properties and manipulation (lithography and nano-movement) of nanomaterials (two-dimensional materials, thin films of functional materials, semiconductor nanocrystals and nanoparticles) using various scanning probe microscopy based methods,

- design of new photonic structures for modulation and guiding of electromagnetic fields based on plasmonic structures, metamaterials and photonic crystals

SKILLS:

  • - Scanning probe microscopy (Atomic force microscopy (AFM), AFM based lithography, AFM based nano-manipulation, Kelvin probe force microscopy, electric force microscopy, conductive AFM, friction force microscopy, piezoresponse force microscopy)
  • - RETICOLO, the electromagnetic solver based on the rigorous coupled wave analysis

AWARDS AND HONOURS:

Student award 2013 of the Institute of Physics in Belgrade for the best PhD thesis.
